The Ocean State Lacrosse Club is offering a six week Late Fall League for boys & girls on Wednesday evenings starting November 9th and ending December 21st at the Sherwood Ultrasport in Seekonk, MA. The 7th-8th grade & high school divisions will play on the full field in an 8 on 8 format (goalie, 2 defense, 3 midfielders, 2 attack), while the 4th-6th graders will play 5 on 5 on a half field (1 attack, 3 middies, 1 defender). Like our Indoor League formats in the past, a third of each 60 minute time slot will be devoted to speed & agility training, the instruction of fundamentals (scooping, passing, catching, and shooting with both hands) and situational play, followed by game play with emphasis on effective strategies for team defensive and team offensive play.

Start times will be as follows:

                                  5:00 4th-6th grade divisions

                                  5:00, or 6:00 7th-8th grade divisions

7:00, or 8:00 high school divisions

The program is geared for players at all experience levels who want to become better all-around lacrosse players. Players will also receive advice on strength training & conditioning. All players are required to be members of US Lacrosse. Boys will be required to use short sticks and wear helmets, gloves, and arm pads & mouthguards; girls will be required to wear goggles & mouthguards. The Late Fall player fee is $140; the goalie fee is $70.
